Adding a Sub?

Has anyone dropped a sub in their Tour Pack? I installed a Sound Stream HU. Great volume and clarity but needs bass. Thinking of adding a 10" shallow sub in the top lid. Thoughts and experience appreciated.

Thoughts only, no experience. Unless you're only cruising city streets, wouldn't the effect of the sub be washed away while at highway speeds? Maybe not if your tour pak is in a solo setup.

Have you thought about adding fairing lowers with speakers? Or 6x9's in the saddlebag lids?

I don't have lower fairings and I don't think even if I did it wouldn't give me much more bass. I did add change my 5X7 to 6X9's on my last street glide. Didn't improve much. Thank you for the response.
