Does anyone make one? The one from Harley hits me about mid way up my back and really confines the rear passenger. The one we had on our '05 Road King was smaller, sat lower to the seat, was shaped like a triangle and hit me at my lower back, which is what you need for lumbar support. The dealer tells me that backrest won't fit the SG. The attached photo is what I'm after. I'm not opposed to swapping the seat, although we're happy with the stock seat.

I just installed the Mustang drivers backrest on my Street Glide, and it is perfect for me. Without it, my bad back won't let me ride for very long. This is the one that I got, it is height and fore and aft adjustable, and works with the stock seat. It also folds forward, flat against the riders seat for ease of getting on/off the bike. I have it adjusted so that the bottom of the backrest is about 1" off the top of the seat. Takes about 10-15 minutes to install, and the backrest is removable and small enough to fit in a saddle bag for security when away from the bike. It may be available from one of the vendors here.

That looks perfect. I did see that on Mustangs website but somehow got it in my head that it would only work on their seat. I'll catch hell from the wife because it doesn't match the pax backrest, but if it works, I can deal with that.

The material matches the stock seat almost perfectly, and it does not take up a lot of passenger space. I bought the one that I got for $25-30 less than the price Mustang quotes from the bay, with free shipping, and had it in 3 days.

Was in Jackson a few years ago, nice city from what I saw. Have a good one.

thanks for this post, I have been looking to add a driver backrest and I found the Mustang one on Revzilla, but nothing saying it will fit with the stock seat. Because of this post, I just ordered mine.
