I recently installed AirFx rear air ride on my motorcycle. While air ride does offer you a pretty sexy stance, I went with this option for two reasons:
1- The 9.25 low length lets me get my short legs confidently on the ground when I back out of my crazy drive way.
2- The shocks have great adjustibility- especially on the soft end. Many shocks I've tried gave me a good ride height, but were simply too stiff for my comfort.

I mounted the switch just under the seat, right side, near the tank. Maybe in the future I'll look at changing the switch to a handlebar mount, but it works fine for me right now.

Shock varies from 9.25 to 13.25 ride height. You can ride at the low setting without rubbing the tire and without shaking your guts out. The kit came with everything I needed, including a mounting bracket (some other businesses charge extra for a mount.)

After you install the shocks, compressor, valves, wiring, and tubing, you can use a valve on the bottom of the shock to adjust the rebound stiffness of the shock itself.

I ordered my kit straight from airfx. Jeff was great to deal with. He answered all of my questions prior to purchase, shipped the kit out immediately, and even helped me with an install question late in the evening.

There are less expensive kits out there, but this was definitely the right kit for me.

Sounds like you made a good investment with that air ride.

Thanks for the great info @Mandrew. The AirFX system has been on our radar for quite a while. Like you, it seems like nearly all of the feedback we have seen has all be extremely positive so it seems like a no-brainer for riders with the budget to do the upgrade.

Thanks again for sharing your experience thus far!
