Was thinking of getting a center stand. I see there are a few out there. Anyone try one of these on their SG?

Thanks.

I am wondering the same thing. More for a winter type of getting it off of its wheels than anything, but almost appears that a lift is a better price?

Seems like as big as the Street Glide is, it may be tough to get it up on a center stand.

I've looked into this one as well as the HD one. I'm going with the EZ up one, just been too lazy to order it. GAFLHXS there's a video there, looks like it isn't too bad really.

A center stand is great, as long as it is not attached to my bike.

I have had a couple of the HD ones. the one on my 1974 FL was not bad, but they really make ground clearance an issue when going over speed bumps or pot holes. the one on my 2003 ultra was a little better, the frame on that year was taller had more room. only real issue with both is if you do not adjust them properly they will not stay over center and will allow the bike to fall. I have one hanging on the shop wall at the moment. They do add some weight also. Mostly personal preference. setting one on the stand is a developed motion, not so hard when you get the hang of it. see if you can get an install and adjustment instruction sheet off the intranet that will give you and idea of what's involved. Hope this helps.

This does help. Think I'm going to pass on installing one. Have not had one since my jap bikes in the 20th century.

I've never had any interest in one. It seems like there would be a clearance issue too.
