I've seen some guys put the tweeters where the mirrors go. Pete with Soundz has grills for the focal tweets.

bryann is right... I have seen the component tweeters mounted in the faring in place of mirrors, but Soundz is a great option if you still use your stock faring mirrors

as far as getting advice from Peter , nothing I had was good ,

My local car audio company has suggested fitting a set of Rockford Fosgate or JBL 6.5" speakers to improve the sound.
My question is will this happen without an extra amplifier?

Speakers will be a slight improvement... but not enuf... do yourself a favor and RESEARCH what others have done... this way you won't have to do it more than once.... i did 10 months of research before pulling the trigger. There is a LOT of info out there and how deep your pockets are can dictate what you are willing to go for.

I would like to upgrade my speakers to Focal's, but I like the location of my Boom Audio II speaker & tweeter location and want to be able to have the same set up. Not sure I can replace the speaker and tweeter in the same framework. I may call Soundz to see if they have any ideas.

You can use focal KRC coaxial series tweeters are built in to the speakers , but soundz doesn't sell them unless you by there packaged , I had already bought speakers & amp , I couldn't return it , I would have lost to much do to duty & shipping , bummer of getting stuff to CANADA
