?? Apes on the 2014 SGS ??

glad to hear...how tall are you? Just getting a gauge as I am 6'2".

Mirrors are spot on. It's a little different looking under my arm but there is zero obstruction. This really is the best mod I have ever done. Completely changes everything about the ride for the better for me. Highly recommend it!

Im going back and forth from YMB and wild1 chubbys... 12 or 12.5... $395 or $212... hmmmm

Where are you guys getting the Yaffe bars? I contacted Lindsey and she said they won't have them for the '14's until September. I'm dying to get these on my bike, decided to go 12" instead of 10".

I ordered 12" vindikta. Was told it would be around 2 weeks. 1.5" instead of the yaffe 1.25

Gray, I'm 5'10". As for where I got them? The local HD shop was able to get them in a matter of a few daays. Guess I got lucky. Man these things have changed my entire ride. Will not ever go back either. Just took my first weekend ride doing 500mi/day. I could have easily done more. Apes, backrest, and pegs made it feel like I was in a recliner all weekend!!!

I just put on vindikta 12". These bars are great.

Gosh Dang!!! i stopped in yesterday got them to quote me a price for install 14" Paul Yaffe's $1800.00. I told them what ever!!... I think im going to go with some Chubby's and let my buddy & his buddy install them with a small fee.Granbury.jpg
These are PYO MBB 12" bars. I wished I put them on myself as it ain't cheap to have the dealer install.

The install of the 12" yaffees was pretty easy. I did it by myself in about 3 hours with two people probably would have been a lot quicker. As long as you're not having to replace the brake and clutch lines there is no reason to have the dealer do this. Get the wiring extensions and with a little patience the pulls aren't that bad. The rest is cake.

is there anyway that you could send a couple of pics so i can see where the grips are going to be. What is the trick of pulling the wires, do you pull & push with hangers? Thanks.

Pulls on the vindikta were a piece of cake once I picked up the extended throttle sensor that has no in line connectors to send through the bar. But the vindikta is also a thicker bar than the yaffe so there is an extra bit of room.

I highly recommend picking up the extended sensor though. If you just want extensions to add to your throttle though, let me know. I never even opened the kit and I'll save you some money on it.

I have a 2014 SG and would like 12" LA Chopper twin peak bars. Did you say you DID NOT have to deal with extending cluch or brake lines. I am going to do the install my self also.
