Apes with Fairing Mounted Mirrors?

I want to keep the fairing mounted mirrors on the bike but want taller bars. I like the looks of 12" bars but not sure if they will allow use of the stock mirrors. I am about 6'3" but average height from the waist up. Wondering who is running stock mirrors with apes and how tall they have to be.

I have 14" wild one's and I can use them but at 6' if they were any lower I think it would be difficult. I had always been told they needed to be 16" or higher but I know 14" are good but I think 12" would be a little low. Just my thought though.

I have 14" apes and stock mirrors works really well and looks good

I have 12" yaffes and use the fairing mirrors no problem. Just takes some geeting used to looking under your arm.

14" Wild One's and I'm 6'1". I need to lift my right arm a little but still functional.

i have 12.5" Wild Ones had to get handle bar mirrors.

I also have the wild one 12.5 and had to go with mirrors mounted on the handle bars. I actually like the look.

I'm 5'7" and have 12" Yaffe Monkey bars... I had to pull the bars back for my reach and rendered the fairing mirrors useless..... 14's would clear for me... but didn't want the extra headache of more wiring. 12" is the MAX you can go without having to replace the OEM control wires for hand controls.
