Arc Audio XDi 600.4 vs Moto 600.4

Finally getting the funds together to start my upgrade, and I was curious on what the main difference is between the XDi and Moto amps. I did contact Peter at Soundz Customs awhile ago as most of you suggested, and his insight was great thx. I didn't ask him this then, probably will during the week, but I figured maybe some of you have some experiences you could pass along. Thx..

Footprint on the Moto is a bit smaller and the newer model of the two... same design function with the both having CRISP and CLEAR power. I have the XDI 600.4... I just installed the Moto 600.4 in my Brother's 14SGS.

XDI is 'last year's model' so to speak.... ( I got mine Feb 2015 )

IF you are going with Soundz ( HIGHLY recommended ) the install will be a breeze with the Moto 600.4... much cleaner than the the XDI. Here is the Moto in the 14SGS...

Thx Spazz. Price point was about 100.00 difference, wasn't sure why by the specs. Thx for the head's up. Looking like a Moto install coming up!

You can't go wrong either way, but Peter will recommend the Moto...( so do I ).... because he had transitioned to the newer model and wiring is MUCH cleaner.... really it is... I Can't believe how nice and neat everything is and just fits with no fuss or bulky extra wires.

IF you want to save the $100... try talking him into it.... he may bite....

Spazz is correct, same amp, just the Moto is smaller.

I have the Moto 600.4 amp in my bike and it rocks. Have the same system as Spazz except the amp. I originally had the 125 watt amp and it just wasn't enough so at Sturgis last year I had Peter trade it out for the Moto 600.4 and one of my best improvements.

I know some of you guys have component speakers. I'm thinking of going that route myself, mainly for sound but also after my bar install, I had to add mirrors so I figured I would put the tweeter in the fairing when I take out the stock mirrors. My question to you is how is the sound did you lose much bottom end ?

Any ideas on where to mount crossovers under the SG fairing? Maybe I'll start a new post on this?
