Hey guys, I'm about to be installing an Arc Moto 600.4 and Hertz Mille Pro 6.5's on my 2016 Street Glide. I just wanted to make sure I have the correct information for the flash. It needs to be flashed to 2 amps on, 8 speakers correct? And no line levelers or anything is needed?

Also, a friend of mine tried hooking up an aftermarket amp and speakers on his, and I think he ended up blowing a channel on his Boom 6.5 head unit. He would get sound through both speakers for a split second, and then nothing. And then he could hook it up to just one of the channels and it would only play through one speaker. My question is, is this something that Harley will warranty? Can he just take the head unit out of the bike and take it to the dealer and have them test it? Thanks so much

Evans,

I have become confused on all the Flashes. I am not much help there.

This I know, If you use the Arc Moto 600.4 Amp and the Arc Moto Plug and play Wiring Harnesses and 14+ speaker adapter Harness, you will need neither a flash or a line leveler. We do 6-8 of these setups a month with various speaker setups and no issues and big smiles

The problem with needing a flash or not needing a flash may be that only the
SG Special is the one requiring a flash the SG standard does not.
If Im mot mistake.

Yea, I ordered the MPAK10. I wish I had come on here a few days ago and saw where you were selling the MPAK11 for $825. That's an insane deal. I just spent $789 on the MPAK10, plus another $300 on the Hertz. Oh well. Lol

If you're running just fairing speakers (fantastic choice, btw) you may not have to do a flash. Just make sure you have a BT line leveler. If more speakers, you should do 0 amps, ultra flash. This will give you fade control. It may also be necessary, to be able to use the auto volume, for when you stop at a red light. I haven't done the flash yet, and I have neither. My sound is awesome because the LL's flatten out the HD equalizer signal, so I'm not in a huge hurry. But I miss my auto volume.
