Baisley spring and relief valve

Anyone ever install these in your OEM cam plate?

I did wish I would have just replaced the cam plate and pump assembly when I did the cams! I don’t have any issues but I don’t like the oil pressure at 10psi at idle when hot. I opened the cam cover up again and installed baisley plunger and Spring not sure it made any difference

I have a 107 build similar to yours and I installed the Baisley valve in a stock cam plate. Keeps oil pressure about 45 lbs at highway speeds and about 10 lbs at idle when hot.

How do you like theDD7, I have been trying to decide if it is worth the cost to change out from a 6 speed OEM unit.
