In my region you have to be a HOG member of that dealer to get the 10% discount or have a Military ID. Bikes and labor not included! As an MVP Gold member at mine, it's 15% !

So back to the OPs inquiry...I've used the Battery Tender Junior for years with unfailing success. Charges when needed and idles otherwise.

I have the same one. It was given to when I bought my 05 ZX10R (in 05) then it went to the v-star, and now it's used on my street glide. Never had an issue with it and does what it is supposed to.

I've got a battery tender for the bike, for the 4-wheeler, and for the race car. If they aren't being used, they are plugged in.

Do you have to remove the cables from the battery when using the battery tender?

They come with a quick disconnect harness that you can put on your battery, or they have alligator clips you can use.

FWIW, I have two Battery Tender Jr's with 25' extension cables. They work great. I used to pull the battery from my Sportster and charge it on a workbench due to few garage outlets, but the extension cables fixed that issue.Deltran also make multi-chargers if you've got multiple batteries.

Battery Tender

Got my battery charger/maintainer/desulfurizer in the mail and set up today. Pretty cool little unit with the interchangeable charging leads.
