I bought a '13 Vrod new and as much as I love it, my wife hates riding with me. Some might argue that's a good thing. Nonetheless, a SG was my second choice and it now appears I'm in the market. I'm trying to find a good resource to help locate a 2-3 year old used SG. I'm really wanting to find one that already has the front end raked out with a slightly larger front rim/tire. I don't want to have to mess with buying one and then undertaking that project. Not so much concerned about any other mods as I can do those as time and money allow.
Any suggestions on where to begin looking?

I never really use it, but I found my previous bike (Switchback) off Craigs list, for a great price. Not locally but s State over.

I've seen bike for sale here and there on FB. Be care if you buy a bike already raked with a larger wheel. You want to be sure it was done correctly.

One thing I haven't been able to find out, if the bike is equipped with an ABS system, how is it affected if the front end is raked with a larger rim?

Depending on wheel size most guys take the abs out.

When I installed the raked trees...and looked the stock trees over good, I couldn't see anything on either that looked related to ABS, and I do have ABS. I asked the dealer it here was a difference in the trees and they said no, same part number for ABS and non ABS. Then one of the sales guys said he was running 30" with frame mods and raked trees with the stock ABS. I even called RC Components and they couldn't tell me there was a difference between ABS trees and non ABS trees, but they do offer different part numbers.

I concluded that the ABS isn't a problem with my 23" wheel.

If you're in Florida try Lucky U Cycles in Wildwood Florida. That's where I got a great deal on mine. Ask for Jeremy Coon, he took care of me.
