Brand New Recall just came out.

Called my dealer on the way home from work last night .. dropped the bike off and they did it today. HD of Ocean County in Lakewood NJ has their act together!!! Thanks guys.

I had my 1K done yesterday and the dealer did not mention this.

Had mine done yesterday, took less than an hour. Dealer was on the ball, they called Monday to inform me and schedule an appointment. Thanks Wildhorse HD

Hmmmm I'm about to bring mine in for clutch NOT engaging fully at 5500 rpm at 5th -6th gears , me and my buddy rolled out the other day and it felt as if my clutch was slipping at high rpm when I hit 5th and 6th , I'm about to pull this dam thing and go to cable

Im going to bring it in for recall and tell them about it , THIS is why I like cable so you can make adjustments to your clutch like YOU like it

I almost threw a heavy duty pressure plate in but I'll wait and see if the stealership can fix it

Did mine today. Took less than an hour. From what I saw, they flush the lines and rebuild the master cylinder. The counter guy wouldn't really talk about it, but I'd guess there is a bad seal letting air into the line.

Isn't it amazing how quick they can do the recall labor !

Harley should be complimented for their effort to notify bike owners of this problem. I have had three people who do not ride motorcycles come to me and ask what year model my bike is, and then tell me about the recall.

I just got off the phone with HD corporate. I seems that the clutch problem recall only affects bike produced in a 6 month window which mine doesn't fall into. Even though I have complained about the same problem over a month ago at my local dealer. Example; 1. If the bike has sat and in gear, pull the clutch lever push start and hang on cause the bike Will try to jump out from under you. 2. Bike cold parked in gear, pull clutch lever and bike can't move cause it is still in gear just like you didn't touch the clutch. The local dealer is going to fix the issue under warranty but I feel it should've been included in the recall. If the warranty wasn't in affect then I'd have to pay for it. Not happy with HD at all and am probably going to file a complaint with safercar.gov

LOL......very true. I got a call this past Friday morning and they were there to pick her up from the house that afternoon. They even dropped her back off the next day. Excellent service from HD of New Bern in North Carolina. Awesome and friendly staff.
