Breather Bolt Question

I installed a Vance and Hines VO2 air cleaner to my 2012 SG. I accidentally installed the original breather bolts back into the heads before I realized that the kit came with shorter bolts. I did not start the bike with the bolts in, I simply removed the OEM bolts and installed the VH shorter ones. Is there any damage that I may have caused, and if so what should I be looking for?? Thanks

There shouldn't be any issues, the umbrella valves are most likely on the top side of the head (that way on Evo's but not positive on TC's) the shorter bolts are most likely to insure they don't bottom out on the new cleaner. Did you feel any resistance or giving when you put the stock bolts in?

no, they went right in. I didn't know how that part is machined and where the seals are. I'll keep an eye on it, but I think I'm ok
