I feel your pain.Hi was wondering if anyone knows where cam bearing replacement tools could be rented. Do not really want to purchase for a one time replacement. Doing cams on a 2014.
Thanks
I feel your pain.
I thought about changing cams in my 2014 this Winter. I saw bearing puller/installer kits on eBay that I thought were a reasonable price.
Maybe look for a used set here on this forum or on eBay. If you find a set for around $100 to buy, I would think renting won't save much.
My 2014 runs real nice so for now decided to not do a cam change. I think resale on the bike is better for an unmolested bike too.

Probably not as good as Georges, but should work ok
This is the tool that I used for the cam bearing removal in my 2015 SGS and it worked just fine.
Do you know if this works on M8 engines also?
