Carry when you Ride ?

Also at aviator, some counties are more lenient than others
San Bernardino and I believe Orange county
And if you know someone who owns a business they can make you an employee and reason would be handling cash and making deposits etc. then it's almost a slam dunk

If I'm out I am carrying my G19. In the house I have a AR-15 locked and loaded, 3 pistols nearby and a Remington 870 12 gauge handy.

I've carried for the last 35 years. I recently bought a couple Alien Gear holsters (both IWB and OWB), the IWB is the most comfortable holster I've worn in years. I carried it for about a month straight, only taking it off to sleep/shower. I'm sold on them, the rest of my holsters will get little future use unless there's a specific need for one of them.

I have a CCP and just started carrying more often. I have a compact S&W .38, S&W 686 and a Taurus 9mm. I usually carry the compact .38 in a pocket. I had though about putting a holster inside the right bag. At home we use an AR-10 and Remington 870. Used to have a whole arsenal of Glocks until the 21 jammed and fired a round in the magazine. I'm looking for a carryable .45 now. I'm thinking Sig.

Being where I live CCW is not necessary now but I do have one and carry when I go on rides, too many nut jobs out everywhere and don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time....and I use Zorn holster for my firearm. Nathan is the owner and he is a great guy and build some awesome holsters.....just tell him Steve recommend him.

I lived in Phoenix for a time and was advised by locals to ALWAYS carry when outside city limits....too many crazies have no remorse about stealing you blind and leaving you in the wide open expanses of desert...

Sorry that you moved to CA, there you can't scratch your balls unless you have a permit of some sort, can't do this/that, one of the worst place to be. Here in AZ aside from the heat and some few crazies, not a bad place to live.....oh, wait, don't you all pack and start moving down this way, I was just kidding. We have some nut jobs shooting on the freeway.......hahaha.....just kidding, if you can deal with the heat 5 months out of the year come on down.....you are welcome here!

Hahaha....I loved living there in Az but jobs keep moving me. I moved to Seattle 5 yrs ago and loved it except for all the rain but heck, I learned how to ride in the rain, hehehe. Now I'm back in SoCal and its bittersweet. My kids live here and they love it that I'm back but riding kinda sucks and so do the gun laws. But hey, this is one of the few places you can "lane-split".....

We almost got that approved....oh well maybe best that way as people can't drive in AZ, that's one thing I have to agree with from others are saying......but they don't enforce anyone from doing it as cops do it. Especially when the weather is extremely hot, you can ride through between lanes to get in front of everyone to avoid the heat from all the cars plus 115 heat. I don't do it often but I will do it when there are stupid people in my way, I rather get the heck out of their way so I don't have to put up with their slow driving (under speed limit). I have to watch out with my SG though as it's wider than my ZX12R....

Check out a Kimber ultra carry II, the most accurate handgun I have ever used.

I'll check that out. I fell in love with a full size Kimber 1911 a few years ago, but it was too big for everyday carry. The build quality was top notch.

It's starting to get that way in America and if we don't stand firm and protect our Amendments we will be facing the same situation...... :-(

There is pending court cases in California to overturn the "may issue", changing it to "will issue" for CC. If that is won, then open carry is right behind it.

It gets a little crazy on my SGS with lane-splitting...the rice burners zip right around me and "I" have to get out of their way. I still do it and most folks are cognizant of you and will move to the side to let you by. A couple months ago I was on the I5 in Sacramento during rush hour and as there was an unused lane to the left I decided to ride the line. Every once in awhile some driver would ride the edge of the lane and not give me room so I had to cross the double yellow line. A CHP stopped me and told me I couldn't do that because I was crossing the double yellow line and that is illegal. I told him there was no guidance on "lane splitting" and I had seen other motorcycles and police units on motorcycles do it in other areas and after a few minutes he came back and just told me to be careful...
