How much HP can the stock Clutch Hold up too? I put the spring in when it was built, but it feels like it slips under hard roll on.

The stock clutch with heavy duty spring 37951-98 should be good for a 120-130 ft-lb motor if the plates are in good shape. Horsepower is not the limitation, torque is.

If it's slipping I would recommend a barrnet replacement clutch pack and using a non synthetic ATF fluid. I have seen the synthetic primary fluids cause a lot of slipping. Sometimes cleaning the plates and changing the fluid helps.

Gotta question: I just ordered the Barnett Kevlar Clutch plates #307-30-10013. I have had the Harley SE Heavy Duty diaphragm spring in for about 7,000 miles or so and will continue to use that.
Question: Barnett calls for the removal of the damper spring and damper seat- is this what you folks have done on a clutch plate install?
Secondly, they also told me that the Red Line Full Synthetic Primary fluid I have always used will work fine. I keep hearing conflicting reports about slippage when using synthetic with the Kevlar plates. can anyone confirm/deny this? Has anyone installed the Barnett Kevlar on a Rushmore HD with hydraulic clutch? (after 2013 model year)

Yep I just did the carbon fiber kit and I deleted both the damper spring and seat. I also switched to type f transmission fluid. I also have the heavy spring and the S&S vp plate. the clutches dosent slip anymore but just broke my second belt yesterday. I can see a chain in the near future .

Two broken belts??? That's way not normal. Is it due to riding style? This concerns me because I don't want to put something on my bike that's going to cause serious issues elsewhere.

Its mostly me. I am running 11lbs of boost on a turbo set up . I use to knock the tires off but I started running Shinkos to get the bike to hook. once i fixed the spinning issue i found my clutch was slipping . I fixed the clutch slipping and found the next weakest link (the belt). I am ordering a chain kit from Dragos and plan on swapping the crank with a S&S 124 stroker crank after I get back from Daytona. I am going to take it easy and not do any hole shots so I can make it to Bike week and back.

Ok, that makes me feel better. Great info. You have a kick ass blue beast! Think I may get some type F tranny fluid. I seem to be hearing that a lot. I'll be replacing the clutch plates this week.
