Hey guys! 2012 Street Glide. In a very odd predicament that I'm searching answers for. Just installed cams, pushrods, air breather. Did the proper steps. Followed all the proper steps. Went to crank the bike over, starts right up, runs just fine. Idles deep, deep lope rumbling the shop. Perfect. So far... Bike idles for 5-10 minutes and we go to feel the exhaust, the left pipe (closest to yellow line) has nice a nice hot exhaust pipe and hot exhaust blowing out the pipe. The right pipe (closest to white line) has a nice hot exhaust pipe, BUT the coldest exhaust tip and cold cold fumes??? Why the cold air out the right side tip and hot air out the left side tip. Back cylinder exhaust from the header goes into Y and crosses over under the bike to left side exhaust. Front cylinder exhaust from the header goes straight into Y and continues out the right side exhaust.

From your description of your exhaust, it sounds like you have a 2-1-2 system installed. With a 2-1, you'll only have 1 muffler.

But with your current setup, where the crossover is welded to the collector of the Y pipe, the part that is in the collector may be to deep in and forcing more exhaust out of the left pipe.

Pull your right (brake) side muffler and see if the collector pipe is about ⅓ the way in the exhaust stream.
