What other parts (#'s) will be needed with the saddlebag speaker lids ?
Not wanting the Boom speakers will be getting something else for that.

It will piss you off but you need about $75 worth of screws and rubber washers. And the grilles are separate # also.

I think you are lucky the lids come Vivid black already it's any other color you have to pay for the color matched. And yes it will piss you off to pay for the screws and rubber grommets. Some where I have a list of what you need so I will look for it and post it soon.

Thanks Tom
I figured someone here has the parts list (#'s) saved.
I know about the extra expense for the parts etc.
like they say HD = Hundred dollars

Ok here's the list and I'm not sure if the Vivid black lid has a different # then the ones I have listed they could be for my mysterious red lids. But here are the numbers for the grills and screw's you will need. You should be able to get the right lid numbers from Harley or someone else here.

L grill 76000417

R grill 76000418

Screws

8+ 10200012
8+ 10200095

Rubber washers

8+ 10300066

Good luck and happy tunes in the future.

Do the speaker baskets come with in the lid, or is it different for the '14 and up? Looks like they are part of the speaker kit on the website install pics..,

Nope... every part is separate... lids, grilles, grille screws, speaker screws and grommets. TomA listed the parts above

Thx. I guess I would have to buy the speaker kit, they don't have a separate part # listed for those.

I misunderstood your post.. sorry... the basket is molded into the lid...

TomA posted everything above that you need.... 2 grilles, 8 Hi-lo screws for grilles, 8 hi-lo screws for speakers and 8 rubber bushings ( grommets)

One more thing... the basket only fits the puny HD speaker magnets... anything else you put in will require a Dremel to cut the basket out... don't buy HD speakers... spend your money more wisely

No worries thx. No I won't be using HD speakers. Best price I could find for HD painted lids, and the rest of the list was BoardTracker HD. I think they used to be Kutter's. Anyone looking for HD stuff should check it out. The website is weird but if you have part #'s you'll be good. Ever hear of them?

Yeah...I have... never done business with them though. I get treated VERY well at both my local dealers and don't have a need to buy online

Same here. Haven't asked them about this stuff yet, but they've price matched or better other stuff for me in the past. Great call on the Moto amp, ironically a guy in town I know bought one in Daytona for his ATV. I was doing some work for him, and he said he couldn't mount it anywhere he liked. Sold it to me for 400.00! Installed the other night, fit like a glove sounds killer... Can't wait to do the lids..

BadDad makes a killer lid with LED's built in.... So many more companies are now offering lids since I got mine in Feb 2015.... you have some pretty good choices now

Agree totally, stretched bags as well. I'm just concerned with color match. I've seen some pretty horrible Denim Black "matches" I figured if I go with painted lids from HD probably best bet. Undecided.
