I'm looking to install component speakers on my '15 SG. I will be using the fairing mirror holes for the tweeters, (had to change mirrors after bar install). I'm looking for some advice on crossover placement inside the fairing. I will be using an Arc Audio Moto 600.4 amp and I'm not sure it will leave a lot of room under there, so my choices will be limited. I don't have the amp yet to try stuff out, so any advice/input would be great. Thx.

There is not a lot of room because of the speaker pods. I am sure you can locate areas though. 1 thought for the cross over....... In the Pod?

I would suggest that you pop of the fairing and just do some mocking. I really like how the J&M Exxtreme amp tucks back into the stock location with a new tray. It doesn't seem to take away from any room. It then seems to me that there is some clear area "Under" the tray location should your amp mount similar.

Thx. Fairing is off, ( about the 10th time for other things) I thought about in the pods too, I've heard some guys do that. Maybe a tray mod would work. Thx for the help..,

Here's where I mounted the crossovers in my '15 SGS. I used industrial strength Velcro to hold the two crossovers together and on the bracket that they're tucked into.

Man that's a tight spot! Nice job... I'm not sure, but I think the JBL crossovers are a little bigger may be close. Thx for the idea....

on top of inner fairing
hide crossover in the oppositeIMG_0141.jpg side of glove box where cb unit should be

J&M has a pdf file on their website that illustrates how/where to drill cooling holes in the speaker pods.
