I got a '14 SGS and I've upgraded the intake and exhaust but still itching for more ponies. I'm thinking about getting the screamin' eagle 'stage 4 kit' but wondering if anyone else has it and what they thought before I dropped another 2 grand on the bike..

so has anyone done it? if so, did you feel it was worth it?

Looks like I'll be changing my clutch spring which kinda concerns me since I know other's have had clutch issues, though I seemed to have lucked out there.

Also, I'm looking to do the upgrade myself...but I read in the catalog "When installed by an authorized HD dealer at the time of vehicle delivery, these kits do not impact the vehicle's limited warranty".. does that mean it *does* effect it if I do it myself??

Any and all input welcome!

Check some Dyno numbers in other forums and see if the cost (to you) is worth the power gains. They were not for me. Also when you "crack the engine open" all bets are off as to weather Harley will honor your remaining warranty if something goes wrong.
I have a friend who added a stage kit to his trike and a few months later a lifter decided it wanted to disperse into the oil pump. Harley would not pay a dime for repairs.

How often do you have the throttle wide open and the revs over 5000? If not often, just do that some more and make full use of the power you already have. Maybe you won't need to spend more money.

I'm doing a 120r swap this winter.. I'm tired off catching the backside of older CVO's.. 6500.00 minus selling my stock 103 for 2500-3000 is well worth it.. Being from the motor city, things get pretty competitive around these parts!!

Charcoal pearl,4"jackpot,decat head pipe,tuner,21" Costal moto rim, chopped tour pak,Rockford amp and speaker upgrade. SE stage 1.
