Cooler in saddlebag weight.

Hi All.

First want to say thanks for adding me. Glad to be here.

Question: This is my first bagger. I want to buy one of those saddlebag coolers for the side. I don't think it makes a difference but thought I would ask. If I fill one up with ice and beer and place it one one side, will that cause problems with the ride? I assume it will be less than 50 pounds, but deciding if I should get 2 or is one ok for balance.

There are weight limits per side. Stay within them and even the weight on each side to maintain balance. You also have to take into consideration overall load weight (yours, passenger, and anything else that would add to it). Your ride has a max weight that shouldn't be exceeded.
