First post. And a question. My 17 CVO SG is sitting at the dealers waiting for winter to end. I just received my Classic Solo with backrest from Corbin. I don't have the bike so can't test fitment. Now to the question. On the CVO forum a member said that the Corbin Solo for the CVO is different than that of a regular SG. Is that true? I told Corbin which bike it was going on but doubt that they listened as it was not noted on the invoice. So what is the deal, do I have to fight with Corbin or are all the SG Corbin solo seats the same. If not then how do they differ? I thank you in advance for your wisdom.

Other then different shapes the seat should fit a standard SG or the CVO.

A CVO has the raised chrome strips with rubber inserts that are hidden when the passenger pillion is on but exposed when a solo ride setup is used. Standard Street Glides do not have these strips. However, most solo seats will work even on a CVO and fit over the chrome strips.

I have run 3 different solo seats on my 2017 sesg. None of them touch the chrome strips.
