has anyone had anyexperience with the cycle sounds leads good or bad I'm thinking about putting some on my bike

just put the Cycle Sounds amp and speakers in last weekend. Pretty easy install once I got into it, still needs some tweaking..louder than stock, need to work on clairity

I installed a JL 400/4 amp in mine today. iv got the lids with the 4 6x9s in them being painted, get them back next week

Dealer flash

Dealer flash

Did you guys have the dealer flash your Boombox software?? For the Cycle Sounds stuff

nope, went with their magic box..was plug and play

Thanks sprnt96. The dealer flash thing has been bugging me for awhile now and stopped me from pulling the trigger to buy an amp and speaker upgrade. I do not want my dealer near my bike unless absolutely necessary. Looks like Im going to be researching the Cycle Sounds systems now.

So you bridged the amp for just the front speakers? I believe the Cycle sounds amp is 4 channel?

yep, the directions show how to set up the box for 4 speakers with pigtails but I didn't really get into it too much as that would be way down the road for me. look on their website, you can download the directions, they will explain it better than I can

I'm goin to order every thing tonite. Ed from cycle sounds was very helpful. Even answered his phone on Saturday and sunday. That's awesome support

I too am running a complete cycle sounds kit on my 14 SGS. I couldn't believe he sent me an email with his cell phone number if I needed anything. He cut me a smoking deal on my kit. Great product and great customer service

That's why I bought my system from them. I know I will need support at some point for sure. It's very important I get that support while my bike is apart at that time. There are probably better systems out there but will the supplier be there when you need them.

Installed the Cycle Sounds mini 4ch amp, 4 6.5" speakers and magic box today. Best part was No Dealer Flash needed. Like others , that one speaker pod bolt was an adventure. I purposely left those two out when I put the pods back in. I mistakenly bought an extra set of grills which didn't fit on the lower fairings. I had to go to a stereo shop and by grills from another brand. Right now, I have the amp front settings to: Gain= 75% and Crossover= 60%. The fairing speakers are : Gain= 50% and Crossover= 40%. I did set the bass and treble to 50% and the volume to 75% when I set the amp. Im wondering what you guys have your settings at?

I have my crossover set at 50 percent and my gain set at 75%. what i did was set my volume at 50 percent and turn the gain all the way up and then turn it back down, when it sounded good i stopped. I also have my auto volume speed settings all the way up.
