I purchased a pair of Rushmore speaker pods from elidegoodies for my tour pack because they lwill accept 6 1/2" speakers with a mounting depth of up to 3". They are constructed of fiberglass and the holes to mount them to the tour pack are the only ones predrilled. There are several things that I would like to share with others that might be considering these pods.

1. They don't come with any hardware (pods only).
2. The whole pod is wrapped with vinyl, so you must cut out the opening for the speaker.
3. You must drill the mounting screw holes for your speakers.
4. You must drill the holes for the speaker wires.
5. The vinyl covering is a close (but not perfect match) to the seat and tour pack passenger backrest.
6. The vinyl covering on my pods had a few bubbles in them, so I had to peel back the covering in the affected areas, stretch it tight and glue it back down with 3M adhesive spray.
7. You will need the complete hardware kit that comes with the HD pods to install them (unfortunately and fortunately, I had just bought HD pods and discovered that they will only accept 5 1/4 speakers, so I have the hardware.

That's about it. I will take detailed pics when the tour pack comes in and I begin the install.

My tour pack came in yesterday and I spent a considerable amount of time installing it along with the speaker pods? It was a huge PITA to do, as it involved drilling six mounting holes and two 2 1/2" holes for the speaker pod bass ports. It turned out perfect and sounds really good with the focals in the pods.
