Recently I got a great deal on an SE Ventilator AC, (thanks Buckshot). After the installation I took it to my performance guy, Ed at HB Hot Rods and Hogs in Huntington Beach for a tune. He told me unless it starts running funny, I don't need to do anything. Eventually I'll have him install a tuner and dyno the engine after I hide...er, save some money.
In the meantime, I've noticed what I describe as a slight 'surge' cruising down the highway. Its very imperceptible but every once in awhile it feels like a slight "miss". At first I thought it was the new AC causing it, so I put the OEM AC back on and feel the same thing. I took it to the dealer (and after a week sitting outside) they couldn't duplicate it, nor were there any codes. I also took it to Ed at HBHR&H and he couldn't find anything wrong either. Now I'm wondering if I'm just imagining it...or maybe its the wind playing tricks on the fairing, perhaps even slight variations in the road surface.... anyone else notice this?
