Who is running fairing lowers and if so give me some benefits for going with them.

I am about to pull the trigger on some and want to be absolute!

hey pb1 i have lowers on my cvo sg and absolutely love them. mine have the speakers from factory and they really add to the bass wouldn't go back to one without. some complain about the added heat but if you take out the cat and run a fullsac crossover then the heat is greatly reduced.

I'll give a definite thumbs up for getting the lower fairings as well. They seem to actually help in guiding the air towards the engine a bit, and they certainly keep the air from pushing my feet off the footboards. If my toes get a little warm behind them, I just plant my boots out on the highway pegs and it's all good. I don't have any plans on removing them any time soon, heat or not. Plus they look great on the bike as well :)

That is what I was thinking, the wind is CONSTANTLY pushing my legs off the footboard.

I kept the lower fairings off of my Eglide and ran them for the last couple months. Without them I would not have ridden much as they keep me much warmer and DRY going thru the occasional shower. That said they are off now for two reasons, I like my mustache engine guard and they need to get painted to match my new scooter. The last time I rode with them on it was an 86-90 degree day and I could tell there was a little extra heat, it wasn't that objectionable. They are easy to take off and on, about 20 min if I don't rush. In my opinion they are a must have item if you live in a cooler wet climate.

you can definitely tell the difference with them on in cooler temps, installed mine last weekend and went for a spin, 36 degrees out when i left home, much nicer than without.

I am sure it works as good as you say. I use the S100 foam spray to wash my bike then I use the wizards shine spray.
