Looking to see if anyone has any feed back on a bolt-on seat back product by tourrest.com. Any comments good, bad or otherwise would be greatly appreciated. I am considering purchasing and just wanted to know what others thought first. Thanks

Dan

Just checked out the website. i think my wife would love it, and as long as i can take it off when she is not with me, it looks like a comfortable back rest.
Not the nicest looking item, but if the wife is happy.......

appreciate the feedback, Pipes, i was getting it for the wife and I have the standard HD quick release seat back now and this mounts right up to it. has more of the HD ultra look to it.

That has got to be one the ugliest accessories I've seen for Harley! I don't care how much my lady thinks she might like it, no way is something like that going on my bike.

Im laughing my butt off pikespeakmtnman, I have to agree, as as my wife's butt breaks suction on the seat, and the road trip is over, it will be removed...lol

If all I needed was this accessory to get my wife to ride with me I'd buy it. Its easy to remove.

umm.... sorry... I wouldn't get that just because of the look. She may love it, but that would get a tourpack for sure..

LMFAO! Even though he sugar coated his answer (LOL) I quite agree with MTNMN on this one. I showed this to my lady and she did not care for it either. Looks aside the drawback appears to be the lack of moveable arms to aid in loading. Looks like an ass wiper each time the passenger gets on or off.
As Spazz says, this is the first step toward a tour pack! Not for me.

Low & Slow,

spazz, mojo, bluesbelly I agree, this backrest looks like I am one step closer to a Hover-round scooter, my wife spends very little time on the back of my bike, which is why i am trying to make it more comfortable for her. I wont be mounting a tour pack (to expensive and just as ugly). Thanks everyone for the feedback

DanO,
If you do mount one of these let us know how it works out just for the record in case it turns out to be handy item for those interested. If you do ride with this on your bike I would NOT play Neil Diamond music on the radio. Things could get dicey in the wrong crowd! LOL!
For the record I think fork fangs are butt ugly but I will probably score a set for the sled! Form follows function.
Ahhhhh yes! Something for everybody.
