After about 20 years of riding Hondas & Yamahas (off & on), I finally decided it was time to fulfill my dream of owning a
Harley-Davidson. I went in to look at a 2012 the dealer was advertising, and when they left me alone to "go find the bike" I made the mistake of looking at the 2015 models on the showroom floor. Well long story short, I left the dealer that night with a slightly smaller bank account, and a very understanding wife. This was 3 weeks ago.

My Bike:
2015 FLHX Street Glide (Vivid Black)
I have a whole lot of ideas of what I wanted my bike to look like and perform like when I am done customizing it. So far I have installed a set of 4" Bassani DNT slip-ons, and a black Kuryakyan headlight ring. Time and money will dictate my progress.

Thanks for the ad

Venom,

The addiction has just started... dreams have started to turn into actions for you... the new bike proves that. Now once THE LIST starts, there is no end to it... TRUST ME!!!!! Having an understanding wife ( mine is to a point ) is a BIG part of it.... just go easy and slow..... don't overwhelm her....LOL!!! Parts will come and money will go.... it always does....

Welcome Venom from Nashville, TN. When I got mine my neighbor came over to drool over it. He asked me, "how did you get YOUR wife to let you get one"?
I grinned and said to him; "Easy. I told her it was either this or the little redheaded clerk at Kohls". She thought for a second and said the Harley would definitely be cheaper!

Welcome to the fun Venom. Be careful how you spend on the bike my wife calls mine the other woman that I spoil more.
