I installed the Focal 165ac with a RF PBR300x2 in the last week and while I am sure it is nowhere near what the other guys above have, I am only in it for about $450 with a magic box.

How many watts is everyone running through their 165KRC's? I have the JM 250W 2 ohm amp pushing mine, so the output is cut in half with the 4 ohm Focals. They sound great, but I believe there's still room for improvement. I haven't checked the gain on the amp yet, but I believe JM mentioned somewhere that the gain was dialed back 20% or so. I am wondering if I can turn it up a little more? BTW, I do have the recommended HD flash, but have yet to get the software download from JM.
VW to Porsche to be completely honest.... look up my video in the audio section...video doesn't illustrate loud, but that alone can be judged by distance and clarity.... just go watch them

Even the HD techs were blown away when I pulled up and they put me up against a BOOM II system

agreed... they would have to do some 'blowing up' on the lids and I think that would detract from the looks in many ways.
I can tell you that spazz's bike is freaking loud and clear as can be. Would probably blow away a lot of bikes that have over 10k in them too
