focal speakers

well I still have not received my lids back from paint but I went ahead and installed the 165 FX focal in the fairing not very impressed I previously had a set of ad Design 2000 series coaxial in there they had a ton of mid bass but the tweeter wasn't very bright so that's why I thought I would go with focal the tweeter definitely sounds better but hardly any mid bass at all these speakers are driving me nuts . I guess I will just keep trying different speakers until I come up with one that will give me the output I'm looking for.

You might want to hold off til you get your lids before you jump the gun.
 
the way it's going I don't know that I'm ever going to get him back my bike is denim its at the third paint shop and nobody seems to be able to match it. do you get very good bass out of your fairing with your KRC''s
 
They are bright... no doubt.... but they are complimented by the lids nicely

They are on 6.5".... rated at 50-60 hz at best... they are not gonna thump

I have the 600.4 arc amp with 165krc speakers up front. I'm gonna add bag top speakers in the near future and move the 165krc back there and change the fronts to the 165krx2 components.

I hadn't seen them on the website. Pete showed me one down at myrtle beach during bike week, he has them for the 14's. Had him upgrade my amp from the 125.2 to the moto 600.4 to be ready for it.

I've been thinking of adding lowers so I can add another set of the KRC's, damn this is addicting.

I am thinking so! It already sounds great with the 2 fronts.
And that's the name of them! Camtech. They were down there also. I couldn't recall the name for the life of me.
