Fork level tool

I don't see why you couldn't do just what you said . Its basically an oil change . Dump , install, measure , put back on bike . As long as you know your new oil level if it changes with new springs . Super easy job too

Well I also do a lot of my own work my riding partner is a Harley tech. And I have changed the oil in the forks many times just never done the progressive spring change. Wouldn't want to give you any bad advise. But I could find out if you still have questions. But now I am thinking I need to do a spring job lol. Have done everything else on the upper end and into the primary. Breaking cases open this winter on another bagger.

Gonna get to the HD shop tonight to get the O-rings, quad seals and oil. Hopefully get at this in a few weeks. Gonna install a J&M system at the same time as well as run a new antenna cable from the front to the rear. HD shop jacked mine up when they installed the HD hidden antenna that's now coming out. Replacing it with J&Ms version. We'll see if it's any better.
