I ordered the amp from eBay and the speakers from onlinecarstereo.com . I have my inner off for painting now, and waiting for the speakers to come in. This was by far the cheapest, and best bang for the buck I found. The amp and speakers are both rated very well. I couldn't listen to the speakers as nobody has any in stock, so I'm going off the reviews I read. There are limited 2 ohm speakers on the market. I have a total of about $270.00 in the stereo upgrades. I will post my results after it's all done.

I'll be interested to see your progress and finished product.

Looking forward to results as well... are the infinites 'water proof' so to speak?

I don't believe they are, but I have the factory grills inplace that are somewhat waterproof. The bike is back together and looks fantastic. The amp and speakers sound great, and very loud. I find the speakers to not have a ton of bass, but they are very musical.

A couple pics of the installed amp and speakers. I did wrap the speakers with polyfil before installing the fairing.

Just an update guys. I love this set up, I've tuned the gains on the amp and I'm really impressed with the sound of these, I have CFR's and I can hear the radio over them easily. In my opinion this is a great set up for the money.

Did you get the dealer to flash the head unit or not? Mixed statements say its required and some not...

I have the Arc Audio 250 collecting dust awaiting the purchase of 62.11i's.( other items are more important). any adapter rings needed? I heard they aren't.. just want verification.

I heard the low range suffers a bit with the Kappa's... I think they are rated for around 42-45Hz.... what's your opinion compared to the stockers?

Did you put the pods back on with the Kappa's ( not in the pics)
? How did they fit?

Glad you updated your thread... thanks.... and thanks for the pics

Spazz, his bike doesn't look like a 2014 which I think is the only bikes which stereos need reflashing.
