FP3 or screamin eagle street performance tuner stage 1 only

SE Tuner will cost you a chunk of change... THEN YOU PAY $300 for a dyno....

FP3 for $300 drop a close base map and run an autotune session.... done....

Choice is yours.... $800 vs $300

I don't plan on ever doing anything more than a Stage 1, and after weeks of reading, I just bought the FP3. Got it for $300 shipped online, and plan to install it today.

He's right!

I'm on the fence with tuners also. I had the TTS Mastertune on my last bike and loved it. Put it on with stage one and vtuned, Bike ran great. Said I wasn't doing cams and a year later - Did cams and had it dyno tuned. made a huge difference.
Otoh, the more I read about the FP3 the more I'm considering it.

Here's my take on tuners.......everything changed with CANBUS in the 2014 and later Touring bikes, 2012 and later Softails and 2013 and later Dynas.......plug it in, download a canned program, run auto tune for a couple thousand miles and it's right there......one of these days you can put it on a dyno if you want to but the days of HAVING to dyno tune as the only way to get top performance are quickly going the way of the carburetor (dinosaur....you pick it) :D
