Hi guys, new here. Did the intro and have a question or 3 on the FP3. I tried in demo mode as I am running an auto tune session but cannot figure out how I will set the throttle sensitivity. I can bring up the wheel and rotate it to TPS but no clue how to proceed after that? I also would like to set rev limiter but can't even find it........? I am a computer disaster BTW. Any help appreciated.
Thanks........Colt.45

If i remember correctly after you select the desired throttle sensitivity you hit the flash button which the fp3 will then flash the ecm. I'm not sure if you can set the rev limiter, I think it is a default setting that can't be changed. I may be wrong about that though. I do know that it gets bumped up to around 6k by default when you first initially pair the fp3 to your bike.

I am not explaining it very well........I can't get to the "desired throttle sensitivity" I turn the dial to TPS but can't 'open' anything up to adjust it? There are no selections as to moderate, aggressive, race etc. like I have read about.
Thank you........Colt.45

It's not under tps, I'll have to look later. It says throttle sensitivity.... But it's under something else.

Note that you can't make changes while in Autotune mode...
Turn on Bike, make sure kill switch is in run position
Once paired, if in Autotune session, Flash it
select View/Edit Maps
Select the map that is marked Current ECM Calibration
Select Air and Fuel
Throttle Progessivity is first selection
Dial in the desired setting
Note, there are more settings to be played with while in there...

I don't think you can make any changes while running auto tune.

I agree with RJA, you cannot make changes while running an autotune session, I believe you can view sensor data (MPH,RPM, temp..), additionally, you have to make sure you paired with the bike when making any changes.

Thank you guys, as soon as I finish the auto tune I will do as HD15 says.
Thanks again....Colt.45

Yeah would have been nice for me to mention that, being I had to flash an autotune session to look it up...

Hey guys
I hate being so electronically challenged....[IE: dumb about computers] but I want to set my rev limit and throttle progresstivity now that I completed my auto tune. I set the rev limit on 6000 and seem to do what it says.........next time I check...it is not set on 6000. Same with throttle.........I set it on moderate and it says 'long press for flash options" I press that map and nothing seems to happen?
I am lost.............BTW........using Android tablet

you have to hit the lighting bolt to re-flash every time you make an adjustment or it wont save the changes

Thank you Sir, apparently I was not waiting long enough for the lightening bolt to appear. I seem to have succeeded this time I'll check my next chance to ride to see if my settings are still correct. I am going to change the throttle to aggressive though.....I 'm really used to 1/4 turn throttles on stuff so maybe it will be a bit more responsive that way?

Yes... the throttle progressivity will increase the 'snap' of the throttle. Some like it... some don't. May take a bit to adjust your style on take-off's.... I had mine set to RACE and loved it.... new owner took a bit to used to it... he tried a less aggressive setting and didn't like after all... LOL!

I believe its under fuel/air in the map you have. You will go to view edit map and you should see it. You can adjust exhaust popping etc in this area also. I know this thread is old but for anyone else looking this is how you do it.
