FP3 Throttle Response Question

Need some advice. Tried searching but could not accomplish what I am trying.
I bought a used 2013 FatBoy Lo with an FP3 tuner. I am trying to go through it and learn how the previous owner has everything set before
I start with the Auto Tuner.
I read where you can adjust throttle response but I cannot figure out how.
I logged onto the vehicle with my Samsung, I chose my active tune (in blue) and clicked the Air and Fuel option.
I thought I had read that this would bring up a page with the Throttle Response option at the top.
This page gives me "Front Cylinder VE" at the top.

Can someone tell me where I went wrong? I cannot find the "Wheel" shown in some of the post.

Thanks for any help,
Ted

Not sure but the 14 and newer with the Canbus system you can adjust the throttle but not sure on the older models. Maybe a question for the V&H staff.

I have asked questions to V&H support email and they always reply back either same day or the next day..... LINK

Pretty sure this is not the same issue but here is my issue, just trying to research it. I have Rinehart 4" slip ons + a Screamin Eagle A/C on a 2015 SGS. I installed my FP3 and flashed my ECM with the "Twin Slash Round Slip-ons" map, per the V&H supports advice. I have about 2x1 hour rides on my automap and it is filling in, but I have not applied the map yet. The issue I am having is when I go from a complete stop, the throttle response stutters, and I can hear the A/C sucking air. other then that the bike runs great, through all powerbands.

My plan is to ride and fill my autotune map a little more then apply it and see if the throttle response works itself out. I haven't reached out to V&H yet, primarily because its early and they are not open yet. They are next on the list but wanted to see if anyone had a similar issue. If nothing else maybe I'll clear it up and it will help someone else.

I just talked with a Support tech at V&H and he told me that should apply my Autotune after the first hour of a Ride, then apply it again after the second hour, and so on. each successive hour will improve the bikes performance and tune. The throttle stutter should go away after the 1st or second map is applied. If it doesn't I should get back in touch with them and send my map for them to look at.

OP I thought your Fatboy Lo has throttle cables not TBW (Throttle by Wire) like the touring bikes do, my buddies 2012 had cables. If that's the case then I don't think the FP3 does anything to the throttle because it is not electronic.

Trevor I just recently bought the FP3 as well for 15' SG but haven't installed it yet since it's been cold here. Anyway I emailed V&H to get a recommended map for a starting point and they told me to use the "twin slash rounds with standard baffle" first (current set up is LA Chopper Tru Power slip-ons with K&N air filter in the A/C). The tech told me to download this map and ride the bike for about 2 to 3 weeks and if I'm not happy with it then perform the autotune mode. He then told me to autotune for 2 week periods before updating. I'd sure like to know if should listen to my tech or yours, 1 hour between tunes vs 2 weeks is a big difference. Maybe they should recommend mileage instead of hours, days, weeks, etc....

During the AutoTune process the Accel Enrichment and Decel Enleanment will be shutoff to avoid erroneous readings. This causes the problems you are having.

Well after re visiting the FP3 thread all the way from 3 years ago and reading most of the Q&A I finally ran across Spazz's How To to maximize populating the cells in Auto tune. There is a wealth of info on this forum on different Tuners beside the Pro Street HD model. I tried to mimic Spazz's directions for my first Auto tune run on the new M8. This is about a 40 minute run - not too shabby I must say!

I originally started out with the classic Stage 1 and the HD pro Street tuner (with canned maps). I quickly noticed a flat spot between 1400 and 2200 RPM's. Switching to the FP3 with just the canned map solved this problem right away even before auto tuning!
I see also for an additional $400, HD is introducing an add-on to the Pro Street Tuner to allow you to "somewhat" auto tune with it's software, cables and wide band O2 Sensors. If memory serves me correct, You'll have to drill bung holes on the stock 2017 header just to hook all this up!

I'm going to give that a try. I checked the base tuning maps and they look good. It should yield a great running bike and not put your warranty at risk. It goes plenty rich for power and cool running and allows full tuning of the VE and Spark tables.

The required sensor mounting holes are already in the H-D high flow exhaust for pre-2017 models.

Here's the air/fuel table for Application: 2017 50 State Touring

Hulkss- They tell me the new HD tuner add-on only works with Windows and I'm a MAC guy.
