FP3 Update, NICE!!!

Yeah, I flashed it once I stopped the bike. Pulled over on the side of the road and done it. I'm gonna try it again on the way home and see if it works.

Same as him. Ya have to pull over to the side of the road, hit the kill switch and then flash it. If the process is repeated, still says it is off.

Maybe after this process is done we should just use the regular phone GPS to see if it did get updated. Too much rain here today though to try it.

I checked with V&H today and they said that it will calibrate the speedo and that "they are tweaking the update and should have it out later this week"

Sounds good! I tried mine again and it was a nogo ....I'll wait and see if the update fixes it. Thanks for the info!

Does the FP3 still need to remain on the bike after the speedo has been calibrated?

I keep mine plugged in all the time. Just in case I'm out and need to pull a engine code or view live data or start auto tune. I have it zip ties secure under the cover

Where can I get detailed instructions for the FP3. I've already auto tuned but I'm not sure what setting I should use for my active exhaust. For example FULL OPEN, OPEN or CLOSED. Also does anyone have the decel pop on light?

BgVegas- so far no real good instructions available that I've found, last update on the V&H site was July. The latest updates Speedo Calibration and Decel Pop there's nothing about those at all yet.

I did the same. Drilled a couple small holes on the backing plastic making sure I didn't go thru anything important on the back and then zip tied mine in.

It works now. Did it, then did it again. 2nd time showed it was only off by -.02 and when I was riding the GPS and speedo showed pretty much the same. Very good!

just got the update the other day. now 'm having trouble finding where to set my throttle setting for the aggressive and race settings. I had it set on aggressive before it updated and now i want to switch back to normal.
