FP3 with Engine Mods

have a question regarding the FP3 tuner. I have read many posts and even notes from web retailers that say the FP3 only works with V&H products. I understand you can flash a recommended map then select autotune to get it closer.
However, after looking at the demo, I see there are other exhaust manufacturers listed (limited) and once a map has been flashed, you have the option to change the type of cams being used, fuel injector flow, etc. Are these option non-functional and have no impact on the map being used?

Your best bet is to call V/H direct... even on there site they say it's not intended for use with modified engines... they couldn't give me a definitive answer for 120... so I went with a PV

Okay, so after asking V&H this question, their response was that the FP3 can accommodate camshaft and fuel injector changes. There are also options to change the engine displacement and rev limit. So I wonder why people say it is not a tuner designed for engine mods?
