I have read many reviews on the different options for front suspensions. I currently have progressive 944’s on the rear. I ended up changing the springs for those myself to the heavy duty vs standard weight. I weight about 250 and my wife about 175.

I notice the front needs some work now too. I was wondering what the thoughts were on the progressive mono tube with FST vs just the progressive springs. There is a hearty price difference between the two. $109 for the standard springs and $499 for the mono w/FST. I do not want to lower the bike at all. Just want a little more travel and firmness in the front. Anyone have experience with these two? Thanks all

I went down the Progressive spring route initially, but despite trying various oil weights couldn't get the ride I wanted so eventually went for cartridges. The front end's now sorted and with Nitron's on the rear all's well. Inevitably, cartridges are more expensive but, as always, you get what you pay for. My advice, FWIW, go for the cartridges.

Thanks Tbird. I figured this would be the case. I know progressive springs are good relative to others springs. But the mono's seem to be where most folks are happy. Thanks for the reply and info.

I went with the Legend AXEO and can say that it was a night and day difference. Will be installing the rear Revo-A's in a couple weeks. I know they are a bit more than the progressive but as I have learned you get what you pay for.

I just replaced my suspension today with the Legend Axeo. Tomorrow I'll have it all back together and hopefully this crappy weather will break so I can go cruising and check them out. Install was simple and straight forward.. Bought them from Iron Aces and Lindsey was great to work with.
