A car was backing out of a parking spot, right into my bike's fender in the designated motorcycle parking area. AND THEN DROVE OFF!!!
My bike fell over and onto the bike next to me.
That bike fell into another, it remained upright.

Bystanders got his license plate and the cops went looking for him.

After pics were taken and the police report was taken, 4 or 5 guys assisted with the lifting of the bikes.

-Fender scuff from car.
-Busted fairing corner & fairing scrape.
-Peeling paint on inner fairing.
-Damaged saddle bag paint (bag appears OK)
-Various scuffs on crash bars, pegs, exhaust, side mirror.

It drove home fine. Guess I'll be bikeless for a while once it goes to the shop.
Dealing with insurance hassles may be troublesome if the guy didn't have insurance.
Or potential court dates....

Having trouble posting pics... cant find icon for posting on my phone. Lol

Sorry to hear. At least no one was hurt. I might wait to take it in, riding season is short in Michigan, it just sucks looking at it when you're out. good luck.

Howe do you like the white bike. I'm looking at one.

I'm partial to white ... several white cars and then my '94 Nostalgia (Birch white/silver) from '94-'07.
I also had a 2001 police electraglide (Birch White) from '03-'09.
I bought an '09 Mysterious Sunglo Streetglide in '09 .... liked the "colored" bike very well, but it's 96 lacked the power of the SE-prepped Police bike with 88. Hated the 96 cubic inch engine. Traded it for the new '15 ..... back to white again!!!

Granted, I do like colored motorcycles, but I prefer white. Love the later Sunglo colors, as well as the Amber, and tangerines .... metal flake rocks! But in the end, I like white.
Only issue is .... it shows tire rubber dust on the rear fender/bags very easily ..... but I do ride aggressively in the curves. Just hoses/wipes right off.

I wear brown leather, and like the Morocco gold pearl because the gold flakes/pearl goes well with the brown leather (black is too hot). I'll eventually add brown leather grips and the '08 anniversary two-tone seat cover one day.

That really sucks. The main thing is that you weren’t hit. Things will work out. You’ll see! Be safe.

The police caught the guy later that night. D.U.I. So, I'm unsure about his insurance fixing my bike.... or even if he had ins.

My insurance gal (State Farm), says to just go ahead and get the bike fixed since it's summertime. My comp $100 deductible will cover it and then when/if the dude's ins gets involved, they'll straighten it all out.
So..... ideally, I'd like to just get the dealer to inspect it and order parts, then keep riding it until all the parts come in.

Since the fairings will have to be worked on, might be a good time to get some slightly raised bars .....
