Hail Cover for Vehicles

With all the Hail that hits Texas and surrounding areas, do you guys use a "hail blanket" of some sort ?

Truck is currently in the shop for $5000 insurance bill for 2 weeks.
I'm seriously thinking of one of these...
Not fond of the blow-up covers. Anyone have Pros/Cons for this ?
