I know this is new but anyone have this on their glides? A brighter headlight is on my wishlist but I don't want to spend $300-500 to make it become a reality. This headlight lamp is only $100.

Lol I just asked the guys basically the same thing on a tread I started

I'll wait for the reply , I haven't seen this light yet , someone might have some xp with it

That's ok Philt1. I am , like you, trying to find better light without paying an arm and leg. I tried the Silverstar lamps before on my Springer softail. It was brighter than stock but I am curious how this HW LED lamp will perform.

I know it's an old thread . But has anyone purchased these and tried them yet? If so any images of it?

I have not tried it but did call head winds to find out about the headlight led option for the 14's. They said they were still perfecting the orientation of the bulb in the stock headlight for the Street glides.

I've paid the extra coin ($525) for the Daymakers. And glad I did. My safety is worth it especially at this time of year when it starting to get dark by 7:30pm. I get a lot of high beams pointing at me when I pass people, which I'm ok with. That means the cagers see me coming and are paying attention. I'm sure when they pass me they are talking to themselves saying "dam he has bright lights for a bike". I even had a guy pull into the gas station once to ask me why I'm riding with my high beams on. I told him there not and showed him my high beams. He was impressed and said he have to get use to the bikes having bright lights as there a lot of Daymakers here. Heck just in my group I ride with 4 others bought them after they saw mine. If you wanna ride in the Dark get they Daymakers.

Yep just ordered some of these DayMakers both headlight and Aux lights. I have seen and heard to many people having there HD Daymakers lens fog up. Have a couple friends that have had these for a while and didn't know it till I started asking questions as they are exactly the same as HD's. One of them has had them almost a years now.

I have no issues yet with mine. But I guess I am on my second set already with this scoot. Tomorrow we have a long ride planed. Will be checking them to see if they fog up. Temp suppose to be around 35° when we leave and rise up to 70° by the afternoon.

Daymaker here as well. I ALWAYS run mine on high beam during the day.

Thanks for the input. I am tired of running my high beams and seems like no one notices that they are on high. I am going to invest in the daymaker.

They still won't notice the Daymaker while the high beam is in use. At least I have never been flashed for running my high beam while someone was passing in the other direction and I adjusted the head light aiming up a bit.

I have black daymaker head and aux lights.

A cheeper alternative to LED is HID.

The kits are plug n play and much cheeper then led with a significant increase in light output.

1st pic factory bulbs, 2nd LEd in passing lamps, 3rd LED in all lights. 4/5 install of LED.
Worth the money and easy to install. Easy to see from all angles. Major light emitted from them.

I can't as I am in Idaho and it's winter now. Bike is covered up in the garage winterized. Maybe I can just stand it up straight and move my truck and car and shine out threw the front of my garage. I will see what I can do when I get home tonight after work.

Seems like the solution for 14 and later models with 2 bulbs needed would make the self contained units on the market a better value??? Thoughts??
