I know this is new but anyone have this on their glides? A brighter headlight is on my wishlist but I don't want to spend $300-500 to make it become a reality. This headlight lamp is only $100.
Lol I just asked the guys basically the same thing on a tread I started
I'll wait for the reply , I haven't seen this light yet , someone might have some xp with it
I know it's an old thread . But has anyone purchased these and tried them yet? If so any images of it?
I've paid the extra coin ($525) for the Daymakers. And glad I did. My safety is worth it especially at this time of year when it starting to get dark by 7:30pm. I get a lot of high beams pointing at me when I pass people, which I'm ok with. That means the cagers see me coming and are paying attention. I'm sure when they pass me they are talking to themselves saying "dam he has bright lights for a bike". I even had a guy pull into the gas station once to ask me why I'm riding with my high beams on. I told him there not and showed him my high beams. He was impressed and said he have to get use to the bikes having bright lights as there a lot of Daymakers here. Heck just in my group I ride with 4 others bought them after they saw mine. If you wanna ride in the Dark get they Daymakers.

Thanks for the input. I am tired of running my high beams and seems like no one notices that they are on high. I am going to invest in the daymaker.
Seems like the solution for 14 and later models with 2 bulbs needed would make the self contained units on the market a better value??? Thoughts??
Seems like we are in "violent agreement" herehttp://www.headwinds.com/mm5/mercha...e=headwinds01&Category_Code=LED_BULBS_FLHX_14
If you have the money to spend on 3-4 hundred for 1 headlamp.
I think the single units are way overpriced. IMO
