I thought I'd say hello, having just joined.
I've had my SGS since December '23 although have only put a few miles on it so far, something I hope to remedy this year, as it was in for repair from May through to September last year. A myopic driver drove into me on a roundabout causing over £8k's worth of damage to the bike, it also resulted in the hospital cutting off my favourite jacket - I refused to let the Paramedics do it but the Dr was having none of it. I had a bit of a health issue too so riding has been pretty much a rare thing over the last couple of years but, hey ho that's all done now and I'm fixed ('nuff said).
Anyway enough of that bollox, here's the bike - bit of a naff photo but it'll do. Like I say I hope to get out on it a lot more than last year - that shouldn't be too difficult. It's my 4th HD, having previously owned a Dyna Wide Glide, Heritage Softail and a Fat Bob, I bought it to replace my Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 due to it being 'kin heavy - I know it sounds strange but the Triumph carries its weight high up, making it hard work for a short 4rsed fat bloke.
Re being a fat bloke - I came out today as Trans Slender............... I'm fat but identify as skinny.
