Help! Progressive rear shocks 2012 S.G.....help!

Need a fixin. . Bought a 2012 street glide with progressive rear shocks. I need to lower my back 1 to 2 inches so I bought a lowering bracket off Ebay. It won't fit. The shock and lowering bracket hit and will not allow me to align the holes and bolt. Anyone have this problem? What's my option? Thanks...

First- let me warn- I haven't tried this, nor do I know anything specific about the 2012...
Did you try flipping the shock?

What blocks do you have? What model progressive suspension? There are some combinations that simply won't work because the thickness of the mounting positions.

There is a shop on eBay called rat pac custom he has lowering blocks for the newer coil over shocks , they offer 1 1/2. or 2" kits I have a 2" on my bike with 11 1/2 " progressive 412 shocks fits like a glove and rides like a caddy compared to the HD special coil over shocks .
If you look for them you will want to look for a 14 and newer sg or rg , hope this helps
