I'm very happy with the J&M. Several here like Focal.

I run Focal 165KRC's and few others do as well. the K2 are on level up from the KRC's and components like you are lookin at... MANY audio buffs run Hertz and nothing bad to say about them personally... I have not had the opportunity to hear them or compare them. Amazon has a good price on them for $699.

Whats your plan for the tweeter? Mirror spot? and why components? Curious......not questioning your reason.. just want to know

Spazz I'm changing my bars so I wanted to fill the hole where the mirrors were is he reason for component speakers
Amazon would be a great way to buy speakers but most don't post to Australia
ive looked at polk audio also but I keep coming back to Hertz my main concern is water I guess
Polk Audio are marine certified I cant find much info on Hertz speakers
So I thought id ask the question and get as much feed back as I can to help with my final decision

You're not gonna find too many component speakers ( high end ) that are 'waterproof' You can't go wrong with Hertz... they are are great speaker used in many quality systems. You don't need to 'fill' the holes with a tweeter unless you REALLY want to.... I plugged mine for 80 cents and hardly noticeable.

a 1" plug with 5/16" nut and washer... these work great...

I had the Hertz HSK XL's in my road glide. Best speakers i've ever owned. Need alot of power to run them though.
