Does anyone have any experience or feedback with the Hertz speaker products? If so, what is the difference between the HCX and the ECX models? Thanks

I had hertz speakers on my streetglide. I replaced them. Didn't like them. I don't remember which they were though. Just my .02.

HERTZ HCX 165 6.5 UPDATE:

So I have had them installed for several weeks with the NVX MVPA4 Micro amp and magic boxes, the speakers sound great, huge improvement over stock Boom speakers. I did spend a lot of time getting the amp properly adjusted on HZ and power level output. It would sound great in the driveway on relatively low settings, then a test ride at speed and I would either lose volume or sound quality. after about 6 or 7 fairing removals for adjustments, I achieved satisfaction. I have not yet been able to determine the need for a speaker pod in the fairing, everything I have read and others I have spoke with insist that a quality 6x9 and smaller coax speaker doesn't require a pod or box, some believe that the HD pod can diminish the performance of quality speaker. Quality audio files can be a widely over looked aspect of a sound system...lol. I have a lot of old mp3 files that were converted 10 plus years ago, not the same sound quality as files downloaded today on newer computers, nothing sounds worst than an amplified crappy audio file compared to todays downloads.

With that said, I am happy with the outcome of my $400 investment, I would like find an adapter to mount the speakers directly to the fairing and eliminate the ugly speakerpod, especially since I had to cut and modify to fit the speaker inside the pod.
