Pretty sure I'm good to go but thought I would ask here and get advice from you guy that know way more about these things then I do.
I installed the hidden antenna and found the plug on the left side under the fairing (standing in front facing the headlight) with a cap in it.
Removed the cap and connected the pos/neg wire/plug from the hidden antenna.
The red led on the new antenna came on as it should but reception kind of sucks now (while in the garage anyway).

So finally to my question does this appear to be correct (below) ?
I know the picture sucks, thanks in advance for any help.

I think you just unplug the stock OEM connector and replace it with the new one. At least on mine the stock OEM connector is hanging loose now. My dealer installed it at delivery.

Yes that's what I did for the actual antenna wire that runs to the back of the stereo from the factory antenna at the rear if the sled.
my question is regarding the pos/neg wire/plug for the power.
99% it's right but I have read several times this hidden antenna doesn't decrease reception but mine has drastically .

Hidden Antenna Question

That is completely different routing then what mine said to use.
If you see letter A in the second picture that is the plug I was taking about in my previous posts
This is for a 2014 SGS.

Hidden Antenna Question

I've seen another mounted and working who has the hidden antenna hooked up just like I do, as the instruction sheet says.
I'm considering removing it and seeing if the dealer I bought at will exchange it for a second one to see if maybe this one is bad.
Worst they can say is no.

I went with the J&M Audio hidden antenna for 2014 Street Glide. Very pleased so far. Reception is comparable to factor antenna.
