I have 17 SG and I would like to eventually get some highway pegs for the bike. The issue is, I am not very tall, only 5'6 and have no inseam, like maybe a 27 inch inseam. Would 4 inch adjustable offsets be enough for me to use to comfortably ride with the highway pegs? Are there maybe 5 inch offsets? Short man issues lol. Thanks for any help. I appreciate it.

I'm 5'7" tall and use the long HD brackets and round foot pegs which match the heel/toe shifters on my motorcycle.

You may want to look at these.

That or just put longer floorboards on that you can stretch out on. I have the Jac knifes and find them comfortable, but have been thinking of longer boards as an option. The long extensions may work, but I wanted to give you some other options.

The Jac Knifes are an interesting option. I will look into them. Thanks. But what do you mean about longer footboards? I am new to Harleys so still learning about them in general. Can you send me a link for them please. Thanks

These are some of Harleys

They have others and there are a ton of after market ones as well. The longer floorboards for some of us work well because you can just stretch your leg out on them and not need an extra peg. I was on my friends the other night and I could keep my foot flat or stretch out and have my heel on it comfortably. The dealer may have a bike on the floor you can sit on or ride to see if they work then you can look there and check out Arlen Ness, Paul Yaffe, Performance Machine, Baddad and so on. The hard part becomes deciding what you like best! Having all the choices is one of the best thing about Harleys, that's why no two are alike.

I'm 5'7"... slightly angled in, these long HD legs work perfect

I swear Spazz, even though your 5'7 and I'm roughly the same height, your legs are still probably longer than mine lol.. For some reason it seems with your pegs being past your brake pedal it still might seem like I might have to stretch to get my foot to them. IDK lol.. I'll have to figure something out. I appreciate everyones help and info.

30" inseam for me... fyi

I have a 32" inseam and I use the 4" offset arms mounted at an angle. I probably could have gone with the non offset ones but I wanted the adjustment available from the offset ones.

What I did was I went to the Harley dealer near me. They always have a ton of used touring models (once counted 13 Ultras) so I just sat on every flh with Highway pegs to get an idea of what I liked. It was like goldilocks and the three highway pegs finding which ones were a good fit.

I am 5'6" even though my license says 5'7" and I have a 29" inseam. I went with the HD 360 highway peg mounts and used the stock passenger pegs for my highway pegs. My boards are extended by a 2.5" front and back and 0.75" in width.

The way I have the pegs set is so that I can extend my legs with my heels on the boards and the balls of my feet on the pegs.

I am 5'6" with a 28" inseam and have the hd longhorns and work great, still have a slight bend in the knee,

I can vouch for these. I love these pegs, they hide away when you don't want them and come out when you do. Lots of ways to rest your feet and stretch out without reaching.

I'm about a 28" inseam and the Harley 4" highway peg extenders worked good for me.
