Hogtunes

New to the forums. I have a 2014 SG and upgraded the radio to the Hogtunes kit. 2 speakers and the amp. Plug and play. I blew the right channel out with just a few minutes of medium volume. Sent it back and got a replacement. That amp blew the right channel with a few hours of play. They sent me a 4 channel amp as a replacement and it has worked for about a week w/o any problems. Have any of you had issues?

They are still selling them so I assume that they have figured out the issue. It must cost a fortune to keep taking returns like that. They have been very nice and quick to send replacements.

I had the same setup, and went through three amps before I sent the crap back for a full refund. First it was cutting in and out between channels, next one just right out blew up, and the third one worked for one trip, then blew the right channel. Everyone says to call Pete at soundzcustomz, and I'm about to soon make that call. Get your money back...

No issues with mine (amp and speakers) - installed about 5 months ago.

Mine did the same. Cut in and out and then blew. I've had the fairing on and off 6 times and haven't broken anything. To answer Velepod, It is plug and play so I didn't have to cut anything that would mess up the ground. Worked fine before the amp and fine without it when I sent it back.
